About Us

My journey into the world of the English Springer Spaniel began in 1995 with the acquisition of my first "adult dog", Elmore.  After doing much research, it was determined that an English Springer Spaniel was exactly the kind of dog that I wanted, so began the search for a puppy.  Elmore was bought out of the newspaper classified ads, backyard bred with no health clearances - and thankfully he was a healthy dog for most of his life.  After I made the transition from working as a veterinary technician to being a dog groomer,  it was decided that I wanted another Springer.  After researching breeders, I brought "Stoney" home from Keswicke kennels, and so began my life changing odyssey into dog showing.  For the past several years, I have attended dog shows throughout the midwest, in addition to occasionally attending ESS specialty shows throughout the country, and have made many friends along the way.

All adult dogs to be considered in my breeding program are thoroughly health tested, including OFA Hips & Elbows (when possible), CERF'd yearly, cord-1 PRA tested, and must have IMPECCABLE temperaments, both with other dogs and people before I will consider using them in my breeding program.  I am a small breeder, only breeding for my next generation of dogs to show for myself, all other puppies go to the best pet homes that I can find for them.  Puppies are whelped and raised in the house where they are a part of the family, and they welcome visitors.  All pet puppies are sold with an AKC limited registration. Our puppies are not products being sold for income, and since we CARE about where they go, we require a screening questionnaire from serious inquiries wishing to be considered for a puppy. Just as you are looking for a reputable breeder, we are looking for.

I am always happy to answer any questions you may have about the dogs, feel free to email me using the link on my home page.

Thank you, and I hope you enjoy your visit to our website,
